This notice explains which data iSM Solutions GmbH processes when you use an app built with one of our SDKs (Biocapture Mobile SDK and STM SDK), why, and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible
iSM Solutions GmbH, 5142 Eggelsberg, Austria, is the controller for the processing described here. Contact: info@ism-solutions.com.
The app you use is published by one of our customers. Any data that app processes on its own behalf is covered by the app publisher's privacy notice, not by this one.
2. Which products this covers
- Biocapture Mobile SDK
- STM SDK
It applies on Android and iOS and in every app that includes one of these SDKs.
3. What data we collect
- date and time of use
- an installation ID (a random identifier for the app installation)
- the manufacturer and model of the device
We do not collect your name, contact details, location, or biometric data such as fingerprint images. No further data is collected without your consent.
4. Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use the data to run, license and maintain the SDKs: to know which devices they run on, to fix device-specific problems, and to count usage.
The data does not tell us who you are. Because the installation ID is a pseudonymous identifier, we nevertheless treat it as personal data under the GDPR. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and improving the SDKs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Who receives it
We do not sell the data and do not pass it on to third parties for their own purposes.
6. How long we keep it
We keep the data only as long as we need it for the purposes in section 4, and delete it afterwards.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to
- access the data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- rectification (Art. 16) and erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21)
To use any of these rights, write to info@ism-solutions.com. We only hold an installation ID, so please include it if your app shows it; otherwise we cannot tell which data is yours.
8. Right to complain
You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde (dsb.gv.at).
9. Changes to this notice
If we change what we collect or why, we update this page and the date at the top.
